SHORT BIO

I am a research staff astronomer at the South African Astronomical Observatory. My research topics mainly revolve on multi-wavelength investigation of young massive star clusters in interacting and collisional ring galaxies. I am also interested in the life cycle of radio AGN.

I grew up in Antsirabe, Madagascar and graduated from the University of Antananarivo with a BSc Honours (Maîtrise) in Physics Energetics. I then moved to South Africa to pursue postgraduate studies and postdoctoral research fellowships in the field of Astronomy.

I am passionate about science engagement, the promotion of Girls and Women in STEM, and especially the advancement of astronomy in all its aspects in my home country (Madagascar) and Africa.
